Lesson 3: SySTEMS Thinking

In the third and final instructional activity in the series, learners synthesize the knowledge they have obtained about food systems to define a problem and propose a solution. While this could be a larger world problem, by keeping it focused on food system issues on a local scale, groups can put their proposals into action in the community as a service learning project. Using the IMB THINK approach to innovation, the lessons walk your class through seeing, mapping, understanding, believing, and acting on an issue.
