Equivalent Fractions

Students construct and identify fractional parts of paper strips and circles. In this geometry lesson, students fold strips to show halves, fourths, and eighths and repeat this process with circles. Students use the folds to identify equivalent fractions. Instructions for 2 fraction games are included.
