Hiroshima and Nagasaki: Legacies of the Atomic Bomb

Ninth graders examine the implications of the use of the atomic bomb in World War II. In this World War II lesson, 9th graders research the answers to several questions regarding key events of the war in Pacific. Students discuss their research findings and debate whether using the nuclear bomb was the best way to end the war.
