Students interpret historical evidence presented in primary and secondary resources. In this Westward Expansion lesson, students conduct research regarding the Native Americans that were forced from their homeland. Students analyze posters and pictures and participate in a class discussion aimed at describing how Native Americans were represented in photographs.
