Make a Diorama

Fourth graders are able to study photographs of tenement life in New York during the 1930s and 1940s. They are able to examine dioramas that depict the lives of immigrant families who resided in the tenement building in 1870 and 1910. Students are able to make a diorama that shows tenement life in the 1930s and 1940s. They are able to take a virtual tour of a restored New York tenement building.
