The Women's Doxology

Young scholars listen to the song and read the lyrics. They discuss the basic premise of the song and why it was written and sung? In pairs, they write their own song following the rhyme scheme and rhythm pattern of the original song based on a different fight that women had to fight for. They research female suffrage and prepare an argument for or against suffrage and will defend their position in class.
