“Letter from Birmingham Jail” – Activity

This line from Dr. Martin Luther King's "Letter from the Birmingham Jail" is the focus of a directed reading activity that asks individuals to identify King's argument and to categorize the support he offers. To conclude the exercise, participants reflect on what they consider King's best support for his philosophy and then state their own position.
