Introduce lyrical poetry through song. Class members look up "Abraham, Martin, and John," a song first recorded by Dion, and then analyze the poetic structure of the song. They focus on rhythm, stanza, and verse while listening to the song. A very basic lesson plan, this is meant as an introductory activity.
