Make A Decision- Use Your Math!
Fourth graders work at a computer to complete a worksheet to determine the amount of time it takes to take a virtual tour of a museum in North Carolina. They pick five items that they feel are the best artifacts and tell why. Next, using a map they calculate the distance it is to drive to the actual museum and determine how much gas costs for the trip. Finally, they compare the pros and cons of a digital museum visit or an actual one based on the information they prepare.
