Making Comparisons in a How-to-Report

Use this guide sheet to help your class prepare to write a how-to report. They focus is on using comparative and superlative adjectives to make writing clear and effective. To practice, pupils replace an underlined adjective in seven sentences to make them clearer. They add comparative and superlative adjectives to a paragraph about photography and scrapbooks. Finally, they write an original paragraph about how to make a simple creative project, using comparative adjectives.
