Making Heart-Healthy Eating a Family Affair

Students select foods from the Food Guide Pyramid to create a heart-healthy diet. They also discover how to plan and prepare meals in a heart-healthy way. After discussing, the food guide pyramid, healthy foods and serving sizes, the class practices measuring appropriate serving sizes and compare them to the serving size they normally eat.
