Map It!

Students read a story, identify the locations of different places in the story, decide the distance between each set of places in the story, and create a map with a legend. They select a story and work in pairs to develop a map with a legend to illustrate the primary action in the plot of the story. Finally, students write about the process they used to make their maps and any mistakes or discoveries they made.

Anne M.
Your site is extremely easy to maneuver, and your search engine sorts beautifully--down to the grade level and super-specific subject matter. As a graduate student, studying for my teacher's license, I've found great, creative inspiration in the content links on your site. I count on your site more than any other I've found to date.
