Measures of Space - II: Volume

While building 3-dimensional models of a cube using the Zome modeling system, young geometers explore the change in volume in comparison to surface area. The topic is then expanded by analyzing the implications this could have regarding the size of objects in natural world. Tip: This could be expanded to have learners graph and compare their results of volume and surface area as the cube continues to grow.
