Measuring Volume

In this measuring volume instructional activity, students solve 3 different measurement problems related to the figures shown. First, they compute the length of the perimeter, the surface area of the faces, and the volume of a three-dimensional object built from various rectangular solids. Then, students determine how many times greater the volume of the larger box is compared to the smaller box.
