Mediumest Kid

Sixth graders read excerpts from Dear Mr. Henshaw, a novel by Beverly Cleary. They discuss the concept of the mediumest kid. Based upon attributes in the story, 6th graders create a survey to be given to the school students. After the data is collected, students organize the information and determine the mean, median, mode and range of each descriptor. Bar and line graphs are created to visualize the results.
