Tenth graders explore the midsegment of a triangle. In this geometry instructional activity, 10th graders construct a triangle and its midsegments. The dynamic nature of Cabri allows students to form and verify conjectures regarding the lengths of the sides of the triangle and the midsegments. Students investigate the relationship between the perimeter and area of the original triangle and the triangle formed by the midsegments.
