Modeling the Effects of Drugs

Students explore the concept of modeling data.  In this modeling data lesson, students determine how long it takes for drugs to exit the blood stream.  Students plot the line y=x and compare it to the line representing the drug dose.  Students determine the time at which the amount of medicine in the bloodstream stabilizes.

Being a first year foreign language teacher came with many trials. However, having Lesson Planet has made my job so much easier :). I can always find a few lessons on any given concept I am introducing to my students. The neatest thing is the agility of use the site provides and the search for lessons by grade. I love that! (Especially since I teach 4th - 8th graders.) I need a variety of lessons that meets my students' needs at their level.
