Mother Goose Listening Lesson

Eighth graders develop listening skills through oral storytelling. They use elements of story told to create (write) an oral story that incorporates personal history. Then they listen to each others oral stories, as well as deliver their own (in small groups). By the end of the lesson, 8th graders learn the importance of listening, retention, and writing one?s own story.

I use Lesson Planet weekly. It saves me valuable time. I've used it for several years, and it has become one of my favorite teaching tools.
