Mother Goose Listening Lesson

Eighth graders develop listening skills through oral storytelling. They use elements of story told to create (write) an oral story that incorporates personal history. Then they listen to each others oral stories, as well as deliver their own (in small groups). By the end of the lesson, 8th graders learn the importance of listening, retention, and writing one?s own story.

Carol G.
I just transferred mid-year to an art teacher position; it has been more than 15 years since I taught art. I needed some quick ideas to get started. Thank you Lesson Planet!
