Musical Poetry

Young scholars listen to music and identify alliteration, metaphor, onomatopoeia, personification, rhyme and simile. In groups, they study the example lyrics and discuss how the musician or author used each device within their lyrics. Students use pictures, drama and music to create their own presentation demonstrating an assigned poetic device.
