My Many Colored Days

Students listen to the story "My Many Colored Days" by Dr. Seuss and understand the many different moods individuals have. They create a crayon resist picture by following very specific direction given by the teacher then they create a written story expressing the mood that the student is expressing in the picture they created.

I was at a crossroads trying to think of a new… interesting… active way to introduce and teach the different types of economic systems. I turned to Lesson Planet and entered “Economic Systems” into the search tab and was inundated with resources and lesson plans and ideas… the kids loved the lesson I modified for them and still ask when we are going to do another lesson like that “Paper Airplane Company” one. Thanks Lesson Planet.
