# Newton's Law of Cooling, Data Analysis, and Differential Equations

Students calculate the length of time to cool a hot drink. In this data analysis and differential equations instructional activity, students use a TI-89 or TI-92 calculator to find the length of time for a hot drink to cool to room temperature. Readings are taken regularly and a scatter plot of data is graphed.
