Oh, California: Lesson at a Glance "The Thirty-first State"

Students read Houghton Mifflin's "Oh, California", chapter 6, lesson 2: "The Thirty-First State." After discussion, students write a short speech in favor of letting American Indians vote. Then they make a picture map showing the California boundary as decided by the delegates.
