Paper Bridge

Student build paper bridges, according to given instructions, and discover that flat surfaces cannot hold as much weight as vertical surfaces. They discuss reasons vertical surfaces are stronger and weight distribution. Young scholars identify real life examples of of vertical strength, such as corrugated cardboard.
