Paper Pool Game

When it comes to teaching ratio and proportion, take a cue from a great activity! Part one of a four-part series of activities revolving around a paper pool game introduces the notion of predicting results based upon geometric properties. Young mathematicians manipulate pool tables of various sizes and relate the scale of the table to the ending position of the paper ball.
