Students identify patterns in the environment. For this patterns lesson, students read the book, Lots and Lots of Zebra Stripes and identify the patterns in the story. As a follow-up activity students construct patterns of unifix cubes and identify one pattern they can observe in the classroom.

I am a special eduction teacher at a High School in Texas. I teach 45 subjects in 7 periods. Without Lesson Planet, I would drown just in the preparation. Thanks Lesson Planet.
