Perfect Out-Shuffles

Students watch an episode of the TV show NUMB3ERS and discuss the hands-on method of shuffling a pile of cards, known as the perfect out-shuffle or the Faro shuffle. They determine the number of times a deck of cards would have to be shuffled in the same exact way in order for all the cards to reach their starting points in the pile.
