Persuasive Writing: A Kinesthetic Approach
For? Against? Or somewhere in between? Faced with a proposition (Learners should wear uniforms in school!) pupils position themselves along a continuum. Those for the proposition meet in one corner of the room and prepare their arguments while those opposed meet in another corner. Those undecided visit both corners to listen to both sides of the issue. After each group presents their arguments, class members craft an essay that presents their position.
