pH, pOH of Strong Acids and Bases

What happens when a reaction is not in equilibrium? That is often the case when a strong acid or a strong base comes into play. Sal sets up an example of Hydrochloric acid being added to water. The reaction will only go in one direction, and not reach equilibrium, because of the strength of the acid. This video illustrates that point by going over a few examples.
