Phonics: Inflected Endings

Drop the -e and add -ing! Young learners work with the verbs race, move, ride, rake, and smile by adding either -ing or -ed. Teach them how changing the ending changes the meaning! Then consider sending them home with the home activity, where they make a silly song with three or more of the verbs.

Joy A.
Lesson Planet has helped me to locate interesting lessons for my classes, especially at this late stage in the game. It also helps me to find out new ways to reach different modalities.
