Planning a Day in Mexico City

Students plan a one-day itinerary for an imaginary visit to Mexico City using the Internet and resource books provided by the teacher and resources from the library. Working in pairs, students complete an itinerary, compile a daily budget, research landmarks, tourist spots, restaurants, and hotels and write a one-page journal entry page recapping activities. Finally they compile a portfolio and complete research and written work in Spanish.
