"Quoth the Raven, Nevermore!" Analyze Edgar Allen Poe's quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore with this poetry analysis activity. After reading "The Raven" in the first few pages of the handout, learners choose six lines to paraphrase. They then identify the author, title, rhyme scheme, and meaning of the poem. Though the raven still is sitting (still is sitting!) on the bust of Pallas, your class will walk away with a new understanding of Poe's masterpiece.
