Popsicle Rhythm Game

This Popsicle Rhythm Game lesson plan also includes:

Students work in groups, within in their groups they are given 15 popsicle sticks. They count off 4 beats and then clap a four beat rhythm. Students use the popsicle sticks to notated the rhythm on the floor as a group. They are told that the quarter note equals one Popsicle Stick, the quarter rest equals 3 Popsicle Sticks and the eighth rest equals pair of eigth notes to represent the beams.
