## Problem-Solving Strategy: Act it Out

In this problem-solving activity, students learn to solve problems by acting them out. They read about a person who purchased a cup in a store. They then walk through the steps to re-enact the transaction in order to determine how much money is left after the purchase is made. Students use this technique to solve the second problem on their own.
