Employing their knowledge of projectile motion, physics masters form a hypothesis about how far a metal ball will fly after rolling down a ramp and off of a tabletop. Their goal is to predict correctly and catch the ball at the right spot, not letting it ever hit the ground! If a lab group succeeds, they may move on to repeat the experiment with a different ramp height. This lab sheet gives clear and concise instructions as well as providing follow-up questions.
