Protection from Sun Damage

Young scholars identify the effects of sun damage and identify the differences between healthy and damaged skin cells due to over exposure to the sun. Students discuss what they will need to do to protect themselves from the suns harmful UV rays and what UV means and where it comes from. Finally young scholars look in the newspaper to find where the maps of the country are located to find the different temperature readings.

I subscribed to Lesson Planet after I started teaching science at my district's alternative school. Science isn't my specialty so it has been a real life saver! I am able to find lots resources to enrich my lessons! It's a tremendous time saver too! Why reinvent the wheel?
