Quest Item Poems

Students write a poem about items they would take with them on a quest. For this poetry lesson, students listen to stories of Theseus and Orpheus and sketch scenes. Students decide upon three items that they would take with them on their own life's journey and listen to Jim Croce's song "I Got a Name." Students then write a poem about their quest.
