Reflection: Clothing Store Mirror
Students construct ray diagrams to show incident and reflected light from a mirror. In this reflection lesson plan, students draw diagrams to show the direction light travels for a person close to a mirror and a person distant from a mirror. They determine the minimum length a mirror must be to allow a person to see his/her entire body. Students experiment with a long mirror and answer questions about the size of the mirror in relation to the location of the person.
