The visual exchange was taught in the beginner relay lesson and now the blind exchange will be covered. The blind exchange is a quicker way of exchanging the baton and is used in short distance sprinting events. The outgoing runner is responsible for taking the baton from the incoming runner. Check out the teaching cues and use the practice drills to teach your young runners this blind exchange.
