Rivers and Streams As Obstacles

Young scholars identify the various ways that pioneers used wagons and belongings across rivers and streams. Students identify and analyze various native materials that might have been used by pioneers to construct rafts and boats. Young scholars ccompare the various designs and constructions of boats to determine which was most useful for pioneers.
