Scientific Methods and Measurement: Reaching Beyond the Classroom

Sixth graders work through the steps of the scientific method to answer the question as to whether a person's foot and forearm length is related to his/her height. In this operations of science lesson, 6th graders use standard and SI measurements to gather the data and share the information with another class via the Internet. Groups then analyze the data and make conclusions about the data.
