Numbers are all around us! Learners practice doubling using everyday objects. Guided practice leads pupils into this activity, where they tour the classroom or campus to record objects which can be described numerically. A worksheet guides their findings as they find 10 objects, each described with a number 1-10. Then, scholars complete a second worksheet which has them imagine how many of each object's description there would be if the object were doubled. They double numbers 1-10.
