Self Portrait

Some of the most treausured pieces of art I have from my daughter's early school years are her self-portraits. It's such fun to see what her own idea of herself was back then. This resource encourages youngsters to make pictures of themselves. The pictures are mounted on construction paper, and an adult writes a caption that is dictated by the artist below the picture. This activity goes along with the Arthur episode "Francine's Bad Hair Day."

Raven J.
As an online high school teacher, LP has helped me tremendously with extra resources! I have been able to use additional supplemental materials from here and students are able to gain more knowledge and a different perspective.
