Shakespeare, Caesar, and You

Sixth graders, in preparation to reading the play, Julius Caesar, brainstorm lists of good and bad leadership qualities. After researching various topics about William Shakespeare, they identify literary elements contained in the tragedy. Act by act, scene by scene, 6th graders answer critical thinking questions and take quizzes. As a concluding activity, they perform a student production of Act 3.
