Solubility Rule - Like Dissolves Like

Young scholars administer and experiment to identify the difference(s) between miscible and immiscible liquids and observe and descriptively record what type of mixture results. They describe and explain what chages take place over a period of time. Finally, students draw the structural formulas for glucose, sucrose, cellulose, a fatty acid (oleic acid) and a long straight chain hydrocarbon like decane.
