Spinning Probability

Sixth graders are introduced to the concept of probability. Individually, they make their own spinner using a paperclip, tack and paper. In groups, they use the spinner to determine their chances of winning a classroom prize. To end the lesson, they develop a set of clues to give to another group to see if they can solve the problem.
