Students focus on reading words with sh=/sh/ sound in words. Then they identify and recognize /sh/ in spoken words and objects provided. Students also accomplish isolating certain sounds that they recognize which letters make up certain sounds. Finally, they spell words such as fish, shop, mash and ship on primary paper and draw a picture of a word that begins with the /sh/ sound.
