Struts 'n Stuff

Students identify the relationship between the number of sides in a regular polygon and the number of struts (diagonals) needed to make each polygon rigid. Students build polygons with paper and brads. They are challenged to determine the least number of struts to add to polygons to make them rigid. They make graphs showing this relationship.
