Superstitions

After reading an anecdote on Grace Coolidge's love of baseball, the Red Sox, and accordingly, her knowledge of the Curse of the Bambino, learners research and discuss other superstitions. The final project is a children's book about a superstition that students researched. A lesson plan extension allows learners to share personal and family superstitions as a class.

My students have had many opportunities to extend their learning by engaging in extra practice activities that I found through Lesson Planet. It's much easier to differentiate instruction because I can pull together various levels of the same skill. Thanks for making my life a little less hectic.
