Symmetry: Homework

In this symmetry learning exercise, students trace the figures, turn them, write yes or no for rotational symmetry, and tell how many degrees they turned it. Students trace the next figures, fold them, and write yes or no to tell if has line symmetry. Students then write the number of lines the figures have for line symmetry and sketch the figures. Students then use a compass, protractor, and another sheet of paper to draw the figures.

Lesson Planet has helped me to find lessons based on proven teaching strategies. I can then tailor them to my class - even though I teach adults who are working on their GED.
