Taaruk as bush tucker

Students identify and describe what a bush tucker is, listing examples of them. Then, they read an introduction web page about the taaruk and draw a picture of one using the web page. Students also write a short essay about taaruk, where it grows, what it looks like and what parts are edible or used for medicinal purposes.

The new resource preview feature is awesome! It is extremely easy to both find materials and align them with the Common Core Standards. I use those a lot since they are not state-specific, and my lessons must meet the needs of students from different states as well as other countries. You will help me save a lot of planning time!
